Sean Simon Andrew Fraser (born June 1, 1984) is a Canadian politician who has served as the minister of immigration, refugees and citizenship since October 26, 2021. A member of the Liberal Party, Fraser has represented the riding of Central Nova in the House of Commons of Canada since the 2015 federal election. Early life and education Raised in Merigomish in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Fraser earned a Bachelor of Science degree at St. Francis Xavier University in 2006. He then studied law at Dalhousie University and at Leiden University in the Netherlands, graduating in 2009. Legal career He spent three years working in Calgary as an associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, and also did work related to the ''Promotion of Access to Information Act'' for a NGO in South Africa. Sean Fraser (born September 21, 1980) is a former professional soccer player who played the majority of his career in the United Soccer Leagues. Career Before beginning his pro career Fraser was a standout striker for the University of Memphis where he led Conference USA in goals (18) and points (42) in earning All-Conference honours in 2001. He began his professional career in the USL A-League with Calgary Storm in 2003. His signing was announced on April 21, 2003 in a press report. Where he recorded 1 goal in 28 matches, but unfortunately Calgary failed to reach the postseason by finishing fourth in their division. The following season he signed with his hometown club the Edmonton Aviators, a expansion franchise for the 2004 season. He made his debut for the club on May 1, 2004 in a 0-0 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps (1986–2010). Sean Fraser (Jamaican Footballer)
Sean Fraser (born 15 February 1983) is a retired Jamaican soccer player who last played for Harbour View. Career Youth Fraser attended Camperdown High School, Vas Preparatory School, and attended Clarendon College in his native Jamaica, where he was a star player on the school's football team. Professional Fraser began his professional career on the Jamaica National Premier League, playing for Harbour View and Portmore United. He transferred to Miami FC in the USL First Division in 2006 then went on loan to Brazilian club Boavista in Campeonato Carioca. After two seasons in Florida, Fraser transferred to the Puerto Rico Islanders in January 2009. After one year with the Islanders Fraser signed with North East Stars in Trinidad. Sean Fraser (born 30 April 1990 in Edinburgh, Scotland) is a Scottish swimmer. Fraser attended Lasswade High School. He won a bronze medal for Great Britain in the S8 100m backstroke at the Beijing Paralympics 2008, and a gold medal in the 2009 British Championships for the MC 100 m backstroke.
