Sean Doyle (businessman)
Sean Doyle is an Irish businessman, and the chairman and CEO of British Airways. Biography The son of a Garda sergeant originally from Wexford, Doyle was born and grew up in Youghal, Ireland. He earned a bachelor's degree from University College Cork (UCC), before going on to train as a management accountant. He joined British Airways in 1998, and joined the executive management committee in 2016 as director of network, fleet and alliances. He became CEO of Aer Lingus Aer Lingus ( ; an anglicisation of the Irish , meaning "air fleet" compare Welsh 'llynges awyr') is the flag carrier of Ireland. Wexford
Wexford () is the county town of County Wexford, Ireland. Wexford lies on the south side of Wexford Harbour, the estuary of the River Slaney near the southeastern corner of the island of Ireland. Youghal
Youghal ( ; ) is a seaside resort town in County Cork, Ireland. Located on the estuary of the River Blackwater, the town is a former military and economic centre. Located on the edge of a steep riverbank, the town has a long and narrow layout. As of the 2016 census, the population was 7,963. As a historic walled seaport town on the coastline of East Cork, and close to a number of beaches, it has been a tourist destination since the mid-19th century. Álex Cruz de Llano (born 1966) is a Spanish businessman, former chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of British Airways and former CEO of Vueling. Early life Cruz was born and grew up in Bilbao, in the Spanish province of Biscay. He studied engineering at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan from 1984 to 1988. He gained an MSc from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, studying there from 1988 to 1990.
