Sean Dodd
Sean "Masher" Dodd is a British professional boxer. He held the Commonwealth lightweight title from 2017 to 2018 and challenged twice for the British lightweight title in 2015 and 2016. Professional career Dodd made his professional debut on 3 March 2012, scoring a fourth-round technical knockout (TKO) over Giuseppe Daparto at the Northgate Arena in Chester. After winning his first eight fights, two by stoppage, he fought Andy Townend for the vacant Central Area super-featherweight title on 10 May 2014 at the Doncaster Dome in Doncaster. Dodd suffered the first defeat of his career via seventh-round TKO. Scott Cardle (born 28 September 1989) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2012 to 2018. He held the British lightweight title from 2015 to 2016. Benjamin "BJ" Flores (born January 29, 1979) is an American former professional boxer and a current boxing trainer. He challenged once for the WBC cruiserweight world title in 2016, and twice for interim world titles at cruiserweight and heavyweight. Split Decision
A split decision (SD) is a winning criterion in boxing, most commonly in full-contact combat sports, in which two of the three judges score one particular competitor as the winner, while the third judge scores for the other competitor. A split decision is different from a majority decision. A majority decision occurs when two judges pick the same competitor as the winner, and the third judge scores the contest a draw (tie). Unanimous Decision
A unanimous decision (UD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking and submission in which all three judges agree on which fighter won the match. In boxing, each of the three judges keep score (round by round) of which fighter they feel is winning (and losing). This only includes landed blows to the head or the body. In MMA, judges look for different criteria such as kicks, take downs, punches, knees, elbows, cage control, submission attempts and aggression. A decision is not required to be unanimous for a boxer or mixed martial artist to be given a victory. Majority Draw
A majority draw is an outcome in several full-contact combat sports, including boxing, mixed martial arts (MMA), and other sports involving striking. In a majority draw, two of the three judges agree that neither fighter won (i.e. tied scorecards), while the third judge indicates one fighter being the winner on his/her scorecard. Thus, the majority of judges see the outcome as even and the result is announced as such, although one judge gave a victory on his/her card to one fighter.
