Sean Bennett (born March 31, 1996) is an American former cyclist, who competed as a professional between 2015 and 2022. Career In February 2018, Bennett was offered a contract with UCI Professional Continental team , following the departure of Adrien Costa from the team. He joined the team on February 5, leaving his previous team, . He made his UCI World Tour debut in the 2018 Tour of California, finishing in second on stage 3. In May 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Giro d'Italia, notably finishing ninth in a sprint finish on the 18th stage. He also entered the race the following year, but did not finish. He also competed in the 2021 Tour de France while riding for . However, after the team folded at the end of 2021, he was forced to look for a new team for 2022, having to settle for UCI Continental team . El Cerrito (Spanish for "The Little Hill") is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States, and forms part of the San Francisco Bay Area. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time. The Challenge Vuelta Ciclista a Mallorca ( en, Tour of Majorca, ca, Challenge Volta Ciclista a Mallorca) is a series of four (five until 2012) professional one day road bicycle races held on the Spanish island of Mallorca in late January or early February. The event is used as an early season preparatory event by many of the top teams in readiness for the bigger races later in the season. The five races are ranked 1.1 on the UCI Europe Tour. Although the race styles itself as the "Tour of Majorca" it has never been allowed to be classed as a multi day stage race by the sports governing body the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) because the race rules allows riders not to participate on certain days if they don't want to.
