Sea World Nara Resort
Sea World is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, and a theme park located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It offers attractions such as rides and animal exhibits, and promotes conservation through education and the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured or orphaned wildlife. The park is commercially linked to Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast as part of the theme park division of Village Roadshow. Main Beach (originally Southport East) is a coastal town and suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. In the , the suburb of Main Beach had a population of 3,883 people. Geography Historically, the Main Beach area was a narrow strip of coastal sand dunes separating the mouth of the Nerang River () from the Coral Sea. Narrow Neck formed the southern boundary and to the north was a long sand spit terminated by the bar between the Broadwater and the sea. This created a natural basin for boats at the mouth of the river protected from the sea by the Main Beach area. Wild Wave Rollercoaster (Sea World)
The Thrillseeker was a steel roller coaster located at Sea World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Designed by S.D.C., the Galaxi model opened to the public in 1982. The ride is now a traveling roller coaster owned by Shorts Amusements of Victoria known as Taipan. History In 1982, Sea World opened the park's first roller coaster, the ''Wild Wave Rollercoaster'', along with the ''Pirate Ship'' and ''Carousel''. The ''Wild Wave Rollercoaster'' was later renamed to the ''Thrillseeker''. In May 2002, the Thrillseeker was closed and removed from Sea World. Jet Rescue
Jet Rescue is a steel launched jet ski roller coaster made by Intamin that opened on 26 December 2008 at Sea World on the Gold Coast, Australia. The ride has a very twisted and banked layout with several fast directional changes. Unlike other family launch roller coasters, Jet Rescue features two launches. The ride features a unique jet ski style of seating with lap bar restraints. The ride is based upon Sea World's Research and Rescue Foundation performing the rescue of a sea lion. History In the first half of 2008, a small area of the Sea World Ski Lake north of the bridge was filled with sand to aid in the construction of a new roller coaster. Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast is a water park situated in Oxenford, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, owned and operated by Village Roadshow Theme Parks. In 2019, the park received 1,120,000 visitors making it the most visited water park in Australia and the 19th most visited water park in the world. Bull Shark
The bull shark (''Carcharhinus leucas''), also known as the Zambezi shark (informally zambi) in Africa and Lake Nicaragua shark in Nicaragua, is a species of requiem shark commonly found worldwide in warm, shallow waters along coasts and in rivers. It is known for its aggressive nature, and presence mainly in warm, shallow brackish and freshwater systems including estuaries and lower reaches of rivers. Shark Bay (Sea World)
Shark Bay is a shark exhibit located within the Sea World theme park on the Gold Coast, Australia. It is the largest man-made lagoon system in the world. History In early 2003, work began on the construction of ''Shark Bay'' in a vacant patch of land adjacent to the Mid Monorail Station and Polar Bear Shores. During the construction period seven sharks were being kept inside the main lagoon swimming pool of Sea World's Water Park. In August 2003, the RSPCA began an investigation into the treatment of the sharks whilst in captivity. The investigation resulted in Sea World releasing the world's largest tiger shark in captivity back into the wild. Nickelodeon Land is a themed children's area at the Sea World theme park on the Gold Coast, Australia. The area currently features 6 operating rides as well as some other attractions. History In 1981, Sea World opened the Carousel. Prior to October 1999, Sea World the area where Beach Break Bay currently stands was part of the Sea World Lake. The land was filled in for the construction of Cartoon Network Cartoon Beach which opened in October 1999. Bermuda Triangle (Sea World)
The Bermuda Triangle was a themed indoor flume ride at the Sea World theme park on the Gold Coast, Australia. In 2013, the ride was replaced by Storm Coaster, a Mack Rides water coaster. The Sea World ride has a replica (named Bermuda Triangle: Alien Encounter) that still operates in Movie Park Germany to this day, though it was given an Area 51 retheme in 2019 titled Area 51 - Top Secret.
