Scream For Me Brazil
''Scream for Me Brazil'' is a live album by Bruce Dickinson, recorded in São Paulo, Brazil and released in 1999. The actual concert set list consisted of eighteen songs, but six of them were cut out from this release. The songs in question were three Iron Maiden songs; "Powerslave", "2 Minutes to Midnight" and "Flight of Icarus" as well as three of Dickinson's own songs; "Jerusalem", "Taking the Queen" and "Tattooed Millionaire". "Jerusalem" from this concert was later released on ''The Best of Bruce Dickinson'' compilation album in 2001. Background The album was released when guitarist Adrian Smith embodied his return to Iron Maiden and was considered a valuable conclusion of Dickinson's solo career. The first part of the concert consists entirely of the songs from the album '' The Chemical Wedding'', and then the inevitable "Tears of the Dragon" begins to remake Dickinson's classics. The album does not include songs from ''Skunkworks'' and ''Tattooed Millionaire''. The album ...

David Ingraham
Bruce Dickinson is a heavy metal singer, whose career has spanned more than three decades. In early 1989, during his first tenure in Iron Maiden, Zomba asked Dickinson to contribute a track for the film '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child'', providing a budget, a studio, and a producer, Chris Tsangarides. Dickinson took up the opportunity and called an old friend of his, former Gillan guitarist Janick Gers. Shortly after meeting, they had " Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter" ready for the studio, which was recorded with the assistance of bassist Andy Carr and drummer Fabio del Rio. Impressed with the results, Zomba convinced Dickinson to record a full album using the same line-up, leading to 1990's ''Tattooed Millionaire''. A supporting tour followed, for which an unavailable Del Rio was replaced by drummer Dickie Fliszar. To concentrate on his second solo effort, '' Balls to Picasso'', Dickinson left Iron Maiden in 1993 and collaborated with American producer, ...

As well as Roy Z, Dickinson was also joined for the album by fellow former Iron Maiden member Adrian Smith; both Dickinson and Smith would later return to their former band in early 1999. Thanks to the slightly bigger success of this album compared to his previous solo releases, Dickinson would continue to work with Roy Z on his subsequent albums '' The Chemical Wedding'' (1998) and ''Tyranny of Souls'' (2005). Album artwork The cover art was produced by Derek Riggs, best known for being the creator of Iron Maiden's mascot Eddie and the artwork on all of Iron Maiden's albums/singles/posters/tour brochures throughout 1980–1990 (and sporadically ...

Accident Of Birth (song)
"Accident of Birth" is the first single from Bruce Dickinson's fourth solo album, ''Accident of Birth'', released in 1997 and peaking at number 54 in the UK Singles Chart. Dickinson described the song as "about a family from Hell. Except they're in Hell and one of them has accidentally been born, and they want him back and he doesn't want to go. For all the same reasons that you wouldn't want to go back to your family if they're a pain in the ass, he doesn't want to go back to his family. OK, so they're in Hell, that makes a little difference too." Music video The song's music video was directed by Bruce Dickinson and was shot on the same day as the video to "Road to Hell" from the same album. Balls To Picasso
''Balls to Picasso'' is the second solo album by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, released in 1994. It is the first album in Dickinson's solo career that was released after he had officially left Iron Maiden (although he rejoined again in 1999). This record marked the beginning of Dickinson's collaborations with guitarist Roy Z, who would work on many of Dickinson's later albums including ''Accident of Birth'', '' The Chemical Wedding'' and ''Tyranny of Souls''. Stylistically it departs from ''Tattooed Millionaire'' but is still more traditional-sounding than the follow-up album ''Skunkworks'' released in 1996. Later, Dickinson said that he and Roy Z were talked into making the album less heavy than it should have been. Overview Dickinson started working on his second solo album while still in Iron Maiden. For the very first recording sessions he recruited the British band Skin. Not satisfied with the style of the effort, Dickinson aborted the recording. His next attempt at ...

Tattooed Millionaire
''Tattooed Millionaire'' is the first solo album by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, released in 1990. The album project began when Dickinson was asked to record a song for '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child'', and so wrote " Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter". Collaborating with future Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers, Dickinson began creating a solo album which was fundamentally different from his works with Iron Maiden, with a hard rock sound that is less progressive. "Bring your Daughter..." wasn't included on the original release, as Iron Maiden planned to record an alternate version for their 1990 album ''No Prayer for the Dying'', which went on to become the band's only number one single on the UK Singles Chart to date. The album did however yield four Top 40 singles in the UK, with the lead and title single "Tattooed Millionaire", reaching No. 18. A cover of the David Bowie penned, Mott the Hoople hit "All the Young Dudes", was also a relative s ...

Skunkworks (album)
''Skunkworks'' is the third studio album by Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson, released in 1996. It is the first and only studio album recorded with the musicians Dickinson put together for the tour supporting the album ''Balls to Picasso''. They disbanded by the end of 1996. Overview Bruce Dickinson had intended ''Skunkworks'' to be the debut album of a band by the same name. However, his label would not issue the record under any name other than Bruce Dickinson. The album moved from Iron Maiden's Heavy metal music, heavy metal style to an alternative metal sound similar to bands such as Rush (band), Rush and Soundgarden. The album name refers to the Skunk Works, Lockheed code name for an elite military design group. It was produced by Jack Endino, best known for Nirvana (band), Nirvana's debut album ''Bleach (Nirvana album), Bleach''. "I had this argument with (my manager) Rod Smallwood, Rod," Dickinson recalled, "and he told me, 'You're a heavy metal singer. You can't cha ...
