Scouting For Girls
Scouting for Girls are an English pop rock band. Their name is a play on the title of the 1908 Scouting handbook ''Scouting for Boys''. The band was formed in 2005 by three childhood friends from London, Roy Stride on piano and lead guitar/vocals, Greg Churchouse on bass guitar and Peter Ellard on Drums. They signed to Epic Records in 2007 and released their self-titled debut album that September and it reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart in 2008. To date, it has sold over 1,000,000 copies in the UK. Scouting for Girls worked on a second album, ''Everybody Wants to Be on TV'', was released in April 2010 and peaked at number 2 on the Albums Chart. This was preceded by the single "This Ain't a Love Song", which went to number 1 on the UK Singles Chart for two weeks. To date, Scouting for Girls have achieved eight top 40 singles, sold over 2,000,000 records and received over 1 billion streams. Glastonbury Festival
Glastonbury Festival (formally Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts and known colloquially as Glasto) is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place in Pilton, Somerset, England. In addition to contemporary music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other arts. Leading pop and rock artists have headlined, alongside thousands of others appearing on smaller stages and performance areas. Films and albums have been recorded at the festival, and it receives extensive television and newspaper coverage. Queensmead School
Queensmead School is a co-educational secondary school with academy status located on Queens Walk, South Ruislip, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, England. In 2009, Queensmead established a federation with Northwood School. It offers a wide range of subjects with multiple sports grounds. Academic standards The school had an Ofsted inspection in March 2008 and was assessed as ''Outstanding'', Grade 1 on a four-point scale. "She's So Lovely" is the debut single by English pop rock band Scouting for Girls. It was written by band frontman Roy Stride and produced by Andy Green and released on 27 August 2007 as the lead single from their self-titled debut studio album (2007). The song peaked at number seven on the UK Singles Chart and also reached a peak of number six on the UK Download Chart. The song remained in the UK top 10 for six consecutive weeks. Music video The music video for "She's So Lovely" is set in a bowling alley. Roy Stride is trying to attract the attentions of a pretty girl (Louise Glover), but she has a boyfriend (Liyo Cassini) already. While the boyfriend is there, Roy tells the girl she looks beautiful. The boyfriend gets angry, but gets called away for his throw. As he scores a strike, Roy and the girl walk off down the hall together (although only their legs are shown, the shoes and jeans are the same as Roy's). Joanna Charrington is a music industry executive, widely regarded as one of the most influential and successful female A&R executives in British Music history. Harrow, London
Harrow () is a large town in Greater London, England, and serves as the principal settlement of the London Borough of Harrow.
