Scott Lewis Young (born July 15, 1981) is a retired American football Guard (American football), guard. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Brigham Young Cougars football, BYU. Young also played for the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos. Early years Young attended Hillcrest High School (Midvale), Hillcrest High School in Midvale, Utah, and was a three-year letterman in football. He is the son of a police officer and an elementary school teacher. According to ''The Philadelphia Inquirer'' Young is an Eagle Scout with 64 merit badges. Scott Young (born May 26, 1965) is a Canadians, Canadian-British people, British former professional ice hockey defenceman. Playing career Between 1989 and 1991, Young played in the American Hockey League for the New Haven Nighthawks, the International Hockey League (1945–2001), International Hockey League for the San Diego Gulls (1995–2006), San Diego Gulls and Phoenix Roadrunners (IHL), Phoenix Roadrunners, and the ECHL, East Coast Hockey League for the Knoxville Cherokees. He then had a two-year spell in The Netherlands for the Heerenveen Flyers before moving to the United Kingdom in 1993 where he would spend the next ten seasons. His spell included a five-year stay with the Ayr Scottish Eagles of the Ice Hockey Superleague, where he won the BISL Championship in 1998 and was named into the BISL First All-Star Team that same year. Scott Young (ice Hockey, Born 1967)
Scott Allen Young (born October 1, 1967) is an American former professional ice hockey right winger and a member of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. In July 2017 he was named director of player development for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, winning in 1991 with the Pittsburgh Penguins and 1996 with the Colorado Avalanche. He also played with the Hartford Whalers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, St. Louis Blues, and Dallas Stars. Playing career Young gained attention as a star hockey player while still in high school. He played his prep school hockey at St. Mark's School in Southborough, Massachusetts, playing with teammates that included fellow future-NHL players Doug and Greg Brown. Scott Young (born 22 July 1969) is an English former footballer who played as a striker for Colchester United. Career Born in Shoreham-by-Sea, Young began his career with Colchester United, where he was a regular in the youth and reserve teams. He made just one appearance for the U's first-team, coming on as a substitute for Tony Adcock in a 4–2 away defeat to Aldershot in the Associate Members' Cup on 9 December 1986. Young spent a portion of the 1987–88 season on loan to Wycombe Wanderers before signing permanently for a fee of £5,000. He left the club in October 1988, joining Bishop's Stortford. Scott Young (Welsh Footballer)
Scott Young (born 14 January 1976) is a Welsh former professional footballer. Club career Young was born in Tonypandy. He made his first appearance for Cardiff City, under then manager Eddie May, on 6 November 1993 in a 3–1 victory over Stockport County at the age of sixteen. He became a popular figure during his 11 seasons at Cardiff City, especially after scoring the winning goal in the 2–1 win over Leeds United on 6 January 2002 in the third round of the FA Cup. A one-club man since graduating from the Ninian Park ranks, Young made 275 league appearances for the Bluebirds. Unfortunately his later years with Cardiff were blighted by a persistent back injury and he retired at the end of the 2003/04 season at the age of 28. He attempted a comeback as a Newport County player at the start of the 2004–05 season and was made captain, but further injury problems forced him to retire from football. Scott Young (born 5 April 1977) is a Scottish former professional footballer, turned manager. Club career Young started his career in his native Scotland, making a handful of appearances for St Johnstone and then Dunfermline. He moved to Northern Ireland in 1998 when he was signed by manager Roy Coyle for East Belfast club Glentoran. He was a key player and fan favourite, but suffered a torrid time with injuries, suffering three broken legs in two years, which eventually caused his retirement in 2006. Scott Young (born 1961) was the mayor of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, from 2001 to December 1, 2008. Raised in Burnaby, Young was first elected mayor of Port Coquitlam in 2001, after serving as City Councillor from 1996 to 2000 and a school board trustee prior to that. He was re-elected in 2005. Scott Alexander Young (April 14, 1918 – June 12, 2005) was a Canadian journalist, sportswriter, novelist and the father of musicians Neil Young and Astrid Young. Over his career, Young wrote 45 books, including novels and non-fiction for adult and youth audiences. Early life Born in Cypress River, Manitoba, Young grew up in nearby Glenboro, Manitoba, where his father, Percy Andrew Young, owned a drug store. His mother was Jean Ferguson Paterson. After his father went broke in 1926, the family moved to Winnipeg, but were unable to afford to stay there. His parents separated in 1930, and he went to live with an aunt and uncle in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, for a year before moving back to Winnipeg to live with his mother.
