Scott Wight
Scott Wight (born 5 November 1985) is a Scottish people, Scottish rugby union player. His regular playing position is Fly-half (rugby union), stand-off. He played for Glasgow Warriors in the Pro14, PRO12 having previously represented Melrose RFC, Melrose. Club career Scott started off playing for Melrose RFC playing at 10. During his time at Melrose, Wight captained the Greenyards team to a magnificent haul of Premier 1, Border League and Melrose Sevens titles, and also guided them to the final of the Scottish Cup. He also represented the Scotland Club XV International team. In 2011, Scott signed with Glasgow Warriors. Since his time there, he has been the third choice stand off behind internationalists Duncan Weir and Ruaridh Jackson. During the 2012 season, he has been a strong contender with Jackson to start with Weir being injured. Fly-half (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. Players that play multiple positions are called "utility players". Forwards compete for the ball in scrums and Line-out (rugby union), line-outs and are generally bigger and stronger than the backs. Props push in the scrums, while the hooker tries to secure the ball for their team by "hooking" it back with their heel. Scott Forrest
Scott William Forrest (born 6 August 1984) is a Scottish retired rugby union player who competed in rugby sevens at 2010 Commonwealth Games, serving as captain of the national team at the event. He is the head coach of the Scotland Women 7s squad and the Great Britain Women 7s team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Early life Forrest was born in Rutherglen. He attended West Coats Primary School ( Cambuslang) and Hamilton College, then studied sport and exercise science at the University of Strathclyde. The Scotland women's national sevens team is a minor rugby sevens team. They regularly compete at the Europe Women's Sevens. History Scott Wight was appointed as head coach in 2017.
