Scott Stuckey
Scott Stuckey (born March 23, 1964) is an American filmmaker and record producer from Washington, D.C. Stuckey is best known as the creator of the cult TV show ''Pancake Mountain'', as well as his work with singer-songwriter Vic Chesnutt. Career Stuckey was born in Eastman, Georgia, United States. His mother was an English teacher and father, W. S. Stuckey Jr., a Congressman from Georgia’s 8th district. His grandfather started Stuckey's, a chain of restaurants on the highway. The family moved to D.C. in 1966. In high school he was placed in a small creative school where he met like-minded people and discovered D.C.'s fledgling punk scene. He recalled how important this was in a Time Magazine profile: “ e DC scene and Dischord (records) showed me that music could be created outside of traditional systems. Eddie Jerome Vedder (born Edward Louis Severson III; December 23, 1964) is an American singer, musician, and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist and one of four guitarists of the rock band Pearl Jam. He also appeared as a guest vocalist in Temple of the Dog, the one-off tribute band dedicated to the late singer Andrew Wood. Vedder is known for his powerful baritone vocals. ''A Confederacy of Dunces'' is a picaresque novel by American novelist John Kennedy Toole which reached publication in 1980, eleven years after Toole's death. Charles S. Roberts (born October 25, 1950 in Santa Fe, New Mexico) is an American broadcast journalist, most notable for being the former weekday news anchor on Headline News, based in CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the longest-serving anchor among the CNN networks and anchored weekday Headline News broadcasts from the network's debut on January 1, 1982—when he was the first anchor on-air— until his retirement on July 30, 2010. Since he joined Headline News, Roberts led the network's coverage for each national election. The Evens
The Evens are a Washington, D.C. indie-rock duo, formed in the fall of 2001, comprising partners Ian MacKaye (baritone guitar, vocals) (of Fugazi, formerly of Minor Threat) and Amy Farina (drums, vocals) (formerly of The Warmers).
