Scott Storm
Scott Storm (born March 25, 1966) is an American filmmaker, director, and animator. His work includes feature films such as ''Burn'', ''Ten 'til Noon'' and ''We Run Shit'', and animated short films ''The Apple Tree'' and the upcoming ''Custodian''. Storm was born in Los Angeles, California, but moved to Albany, New York a few months later. Storm had already started attending New York's School of Visual Arts when met composer Joe Kraemer (composer), Joe Kraemer; Joe scored and acted in a feature-length film, ''The Chiming Hour''. At the School of Visual Arts, Storm befriended Bryan Singer, through whom he also met Christopher McQuarrie. Storm finished his Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film and Television) at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 1989. ''Ten 'Til Noon'' is a 2006 crime Thriller (genre), thriller directed by Scott Storm and starring Alfonso Freeman (actor), Alfonso Freeman, Rick D. Wasserman, Rayne Guest, Jenya Lano, and Thomas Kopache. It was produced by Michael Creighton Rogers, Michael Mannheim, Gavin Franks, and Brian Osborne. The film depicts the same ten minutes between 11:50am and 12 noon, during which time a crime is committed, from the perspective of ten different characters. It was filmed on a shoestring budget over the course of several months. After a premiere screening in Los Angeles, Jon Voight's company, Crystal Sky, bought foreign and domestic distribution rights to the film, and it opened theatrically in Los Angeles on March 30, 2007. Phoenix Film Festival is a festival that celebrates feature films and their creators. Started in 2000, the annual celebration takes place in the city of Phoenix, Arizona. The festival is a showcase for feature and short films from all over the world.
