Scott Alanboyd Moore (born November 17, 1983) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles and Houston Astros. He played with the St. Louis Cardinals organization until his release in May 2015. Professional career Detroit Tigers Moore was selected in the first round of the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft as the eighth overall pick by the Detroit Tigers. Chicago Cubs On February 9, 2005, Moore was traded to the Chicago Cubs alongside Roberto Novoa and Bo Flowers in exchange for pitcher Kyle Farnsworth and a player to be named later. Scott Moore (born 23 January 1988) is an English rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Swinton Lions in the Betfred Championship. He previously played in the Super League for St Helens ( Heritage № 1145), Huddersfield Giants, London Broncos, Castleford Tigers ( Heritage № 885), and in the NRL for the North Queensland Cowboys. Moore signed for Swinton in the Betfred Championship, after starting the season at the Rochdale Hornets for the 2019 season, following his release from prison. Scott Moore is a Canadian television executive. He is the former director of CBC Sports and head of production for Rogers Communications' Sportsnet and NHL properties. He was appointed on March 1, 2007, succeeding Nancy Lee. On November 9, 2010, Moore left CBC and on the following day he was named president of broadcasting for Rogers Media. Moore is a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute's Radio and Television Arts program (1984) in Toronto. He was with Rogers Sportsnet from 1997 to 2003. Career After graduating from Ryerson in 1984, Moore left to backpack across Europe. His resume was handed to The Sports Network (TSN) and he was granted an interview. Winfield Scott Moore III (December 27, 1931 – June 28, 2016) was an American guitarist who formed The Blue Moon Boys in 1954, Elvis Presley's backing band. He was studio and touring guitarist for Presley between 1954 and 1968. Rock critic Dave Marsh credits Moore with inventing power chords, on the 1957 Elvis hit " Jailhouse Rock", the intro of which Moore and drummer D.J. Fontana, according to the latter, "copped from a '40s swing version of 'The Anvil Chorus"." Moore was ranked 29th in ''Rolling Stone'' magazine's list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time in 2011. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2007, and the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
