Scott McMahon
Scott McMahon (born 2 June 1986) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). McMahon played for Woodville-West Torrens Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) before being rookie-listed at draft pick number 38 by North Melbourne at the 2005 AFL Rookie Draft. McMahon spent all of the 2005 AFL season playing for North Melbourne's then Victorian Football League's (VFL's) affiliate Port Melbourne Football Club and the 2006 AFL season playing for the Tasmanian Devils Football Club following North Melbourne's decision to change affiliates. McMahon was elevated off the rookie list permanently at the start of the 2007 AFL season and made his senior debut against Carlton Football Club in Round Eight, collecting 13 disposals. Woodville-West Torrens Football Club
Woodville-West Torrens Football Club is an Australian rules football club playing in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). It was formed in 1990 from an amalgamation of the neighbouring Woodville and West Torrens football clubs and played its inaugural game in 1991. Since 1993, the Eagles have played most of their home games at Woodville's home ground of Woodville Oval, having previously used Football Park. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Founded in 1877 as the Footscray Football Club, and based in West Footscray in the old City of Footscray west of Melbourne, the club won nine premierships in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before gaining admission to the Victorian Football League (which became the AFL in 1990) in 1925. The AFL Rising Star is an Australian rules football award presented annually to the player adjudged the best young player in the Australian Football League (AFL) for the year. It was first presented in the 1993 season, and was won by Nathan Buckley, playing for the Brisbane Bears. The recipient of the AFL Rising Star has been awarded the Ron Evans Medal since 2007, named in honour of the former AFL Commission chairman following his death that year. Danielle May Laidley (born Dean James Laidley; 27 March 1967) is a former Australian rules football coach and player, who played for the West Coast Eagles and North Melbourne in the Australian Football League (AFL) from 1987 to 1997, including in North Melbourne's 1996 premiership team.
