Scott Hughes
Scott Hughes is an American architect based in Hobe Sound, Florida. He has been the architect of several high-profile residential, commercial and public projects. Hughes is the principal of HughesUmbanhowar Architects, a firm he co-founded in 2010. He is most known for designing Beach Road 2, which received global media coverage for its architecture. Early life and education Hughes was born in 1952. He began his architectural studies at the University of Virginia and later received a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Career Hughes established his own architecture firm in 1981, though he did not receive an architectural license until 1990. Hobe Sound is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Martin County, Florida, United States, located along Florida's Treasure Coast.
