Scott Fitzpatrick
Scott Fitzpatrick (born September 28, 1987) is an American politician serving as the State Auditor of Missouri following the 2022 election. He previously served as Missouri State Treasurer. He represented Missouri's 158th District in the Missouri House of Representatives from January 2013 to January 2019. In December 2018, Governor Mike Parson appointed fellow-Republican Fitzpatrick to become state treasurer, following the appointment of the previous state treasurer Eric Schmitt as state attorney general effective in January 2019. Fitzpatrick took his new office on January 14, 2019. He was elected to a full term as treasurer in November 2020, defeating former state representative Vicki Englund. Thirty-eight individuals have occupied the office of state auditor since statehood. The incumbent is Nicole Galloway, a Democrat. Election and qualification The state auditor serves a four-year term, and is the only state executive branch official elected in even-numbered non-presidential election years. To be eligible for the office of state auditor, a candidate must meet the same eligibility requirements prescribed for the governor. Powers and duties The state auditor is charged by Article IV, Section 13 of the Missouri Constitution with supervising and auditing the receipt and expenditure of public funds and prescribing appropriate systems of accounts for all public offices, be they state agencies or local governments. Cassville is a city in Flat Creek Township, Barry County, Missouri, United States. According to the 2020 census, the population of Cassville was 3,190. Cassville is one of the primary markets and job centers for an estimated 14,000 people living in the surrounding area. It is the county seat of Barry County. David Gregory is an investigative attorney and accountant. In 2016, he was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives. He is the founder of The Injury Counsel, a law firm in Clayton, Missouri.
