Scott Braun is a studio host and reporter for MLB Network and NHL Network. Early life and education Braun was raised in Warren Township, New Jersey and graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 2007. Braun graduated from the University of Miami,with a double major in broadcast journalism and sports administration. Career As a college student, Braun appeared on ESPNU as a Campus Connection reporter and hosted multiple shows for University of Miami TV, which led to play-by-play college basketball work and online hosting for ESPN.com. Braun served as a college basketball play-by-play announcer for ESPN and the host of ESPN.com's Heat Index, covering the Miami Heat prior to joining the MLB Network in 2012 and NHL Network in 2015. The MLB Network is an American television sports channel dedicated to baseball. It is primarily owned by Major League Baseball, with Warner Bros. Discovery through its sports unit, Comcast's NBC Sports Group, Charter Communications, and Cox Communications having minority ownership. ''MLB Game of the Week Live on YouTube'' is the presentation of Major League Baseball (MLB) games live on the video sharing and social media platform YouTube. Games are produced by the league-owned MLB Network. Games generally air in the afternoon on weekdays. History On April 30, 2019, Major League Baseball and YouTube agreed to a partnership for 13 exclusive baseball games. The agreement was essentially a replacement to an earlier deal with Facebook Watch, which was criticized for requiring a Facebook account to access and for having too clunky of an interface. The YouTube games would feature a pre and post game show, along side the game, all produced by MLB Network. There was no requirement for a YouTube account to access the game. Daniel Thomas Plesac (born February 4, 1962) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher with an 18-year career from 1986 to 2003. He played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Philadelphia Phillies. Early life Plesac attended Crown Point High School in Crown Point, Indiana, where he excelled in baseball, basketball, football, and track.
