Scott Anderson (born 1959) is an American novelist, non-fiction author, and war correspondent. He has authored non-fiction books including ''Lawrence in Arabia'', ''The Man Who tried to Save the World'', and ''War Zones'', as well as the novels ''Triage'' and ''Moonlight Hotel''. He is a frequent contributor to the '' New York Times Magazine'', '' GQ'', '' Esquire'', '' Men's Journal'', '' Vanity Fair'' and other publications. Biography Anderson grew up in East Asia, primarily in Taiwan and Korea, where his father was an agricultural advisor for the American government. Finger Eleven is a Canadian rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 1990. They have released seven studio albums (six as Finger Eleven and one as Rainbow Butt Monkeys), with their album '' The Greyest of Blue Skies'' bringing them into the mainstream. Their 2003 self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, largely from the success of the single " One Thing", which marked the band's first placing on the US Hot 100 Chart at number 16. Scott Anderson is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Daniel Hyde. Scott was introduced in the late-night DVD feature film Hollyoaks: Indecent Behaviour by current producer Jo Hallows. The film would see Scott's arrival as the new local bad boy who was involved in a rape storyline involving, Beth Morgan. Scott originally appeared sporadically from November 2001 to September 2002 before returning as a regular character from January 2003 to June 2004 where Scott originally made an exit but would return for three episodes in February 2005. Scott Richard Anderson (born August 1, 1962) is a former professional Major League Baseball pitcher. He played for the Texas Rangers in , the Montreal Expos in , and the Kansas City Royals in . High school and college career Anderson played high school baseball at Newport High School in Bellevue, Washington. In 1980, he recorded 95 strikeouts, an earned run average (ERA) of only 0.69, and four shutouts. He was originally drafted in the 16th round of the 1980 Major League Baseball draft by the Oakland Athletics, but did not sign with them. Scott Anderson (born February 18, 1990) is an American racing driver from Fort Collins, Colorado. Anderson began racing karts in the Colorado Sprint Championship. He made the move to cars in Sports Car Club of America Spec Racer Ford. In 2010 he made his professional debut in U.S. F2000 National Championship. In 2011 he won the Skip Barber National Championship and a scholarship for a full season of U.S. F2000 in 2012 where he finished third with two wins for Belardi Auto Racing.
