Scott Raymond Adams (born June 8, 1957) is an American author and cartoonist. He is the creator of the syndicated ''Dilbert'' comic strip, and the author of several nonfiction works of satire, commentary, and business. ''Dilbert'' gained national prominence during the downsizing period in 1990s America and reached a worldwide audience. Adams worked in various business roles before he became a full-time cartoonist in 1995. He writes in a satirical, often sarcastic way about the social and psychological landscape of white-collar workers in modern corporations. In addition Adams has written books in various other areas, including the spiritual experiment ''God's Debris'' encapsulating a form of pandeism, and books on political and management topics, including '' Win Bigly: Persuasion in a World Where Facts Don't Matter''. Scott Adams (born July 10, 1952) is an American entrepreneur, computer programmer, and video game designer. He co-founded, with ex-wife Alexis, Adventure International in 1979. The company developed and published video games for home computers. The cornerstone products of Adventure International in its early years were the ''Adventure'' series of text adventures written by Adams. Adventure International Born in Miami, Florida, Adams had access to an advanced 16-bit computer at home, built by his brother Richard Adams, that gave him a jump on game programming in his leisure time. Adams wrote a graphical action game similar to ''Spacewar!'' on this system in 1975. Scott Adams (born 17 March 1971 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian Paralympic skier. He was from Toongabbie and lives in Kimberley, British Columbia, Canada. He is a below-knee amputee (LW4 classification). Peggy Scott-Adams (born Peggy Stoutmeyer, June 25, 1948) is an American blues and R&B singer. She is sometimes known by her former name of Peggy Scott, and billed as "The Little Lady with the Big Voice". Early life and career Peggy Stoutmeyer was born in Opp, Alabama, and grew up in Pensacola, Florida. Throughout her early career, Scott toured with Ben E. King as a teenager and hit the Top 40 three times with "Lover's Holiday" (July 1968), "Pickin' Wild Mountain Berries" (November 1968), and "Soulshake" (February 1969) as a duet act with Jo Jo Benson.
