''Scorchy'' is a 1976 American crime film written and directed by Howard Avedis, and starring Connie Stevens, Cesare Danova, William Smith, Norman Burton, John Davis Chandler and Joyce Jameson. It was released on October 8, 1976 by American International Pictures. Gregory Ralph Evigan (born October 14, 1953) is an American film, stage, and television actor. He began his career in theater, appearing in the Broadway production of '' Jesus Christ Superstar'', followed by a stage production of the musical '' Grease'', in which he portrayed the lead, Danny Zuko. Evigan made his feature film debut in '' Scorchy'' (1976), then was cast as the lead in the comedy series ''B. J. and the Bear'', in which he starred between 1979 and 1981. Connie Stevens (born Concetta Rosalie Ann Ingolia; August 8, 1938) is an American actress and singer. Born in Brooklyn, New York City to musician parents, Stevens was raised there until age 12, when she was sent to live with family friends in rural Missouri after she witnessed a murder in the city. In 1953, at age 15, Stevens relocated with her father to Los Angeles, California. Marlene Schmidt (born 11 November 1937) is a German control engineer, actress, TV host and beauty queen who won Miss Universe 1961. Born in Breslau, Germany and raised in East Germany, where she earned a master's degree in engineering, in 1960, she and her family fled to Stuttgart in West Germany, where she got a job as an electronics engineer. In 1961, she entered the state pageant of Baden-Württemberg in the hope of winning the car that was offered as prize. From there, she went on to represent her state in the national pageant in Baden-Baden, where she was crowned Miss Germany 1961. She then went on to win the Miss Universe pageant against 47 other participants. Nick Dimitri
Nick Dimitri (December 27, 1932 – October 20, 2021) was an American stuntman and actor best known as Charles Bronson's character's opponent in the climax of '' Hard Times'' (1975). In addition to fisticuffs, his specialty was dying violently on screen. He was a regular stuntman on the World War II TV series ''The Rat Patrol'' and a double for action actors Sean Connery and William Smith.
