Scooter Berry
Richard "Scooter" Berry (born June 28, 1986) is a professional football defensive end who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the West Virginia Mountaineers. He was originally signed by the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). Early life Berry attended North Babylon High School, where he played linebacker and Fullback (American football), fullback as a senior for the 10-1 team. He was an all-Long Island selection while recording 68 tackles and 7 sacks on defense, then rushing for 1,341 career yards and 20 career touchdowns. He was a three-time all-county and two-time all-state selection. Berry was recruited primarily as a fullback, due to weighing 245 lbs. (which was too small for a traditional defensive lineman and too big for a linebacker). Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. Big East Conference (1979–2013)
The Big East Conference was a collegiate athletics conference that consisted of as many as 16 universities in the eastern half of the United States from 1979 to 2013. The conference's members participated in 24 NCAA sports. The conference had a history of success at the national level in basketball throughout its history, while its shorter (1991 to 2013) football program, created by inviting one college and four other "associate members" (their football programs only) into the conference, resulted in two national championships. Keilen Lee Dykes (born September 6, 1984) is a former American football defensive end. He was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at West Virginia. Early years As a senior in high school, Dykes earned All-Ohio, All-city, and All-NEO honors after recording 75 tackles and 9.5 sacks. He was also named the Youngstown Vindicator city defensive player of the year. Dykes had 18 sacks as a junior and was selected for the North-South and Big 33 Football Classic games, while attending Chaney High School.
