Leæther Strip
Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on 13 January 1988 by Claus Larsen. Its influence has been most felt in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. Leæther Strip was one of the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's now defunct Zoth Ommog record label. For distribution outside of Europe, the music has been licensed to the U.S. labels Cleopatra Records and Metropolis Records. After the demise of Zoth Ommog in 1999, Larsen signed to Bloodline Records, which only released a single before also going out of business. In 2005, Leæther Strip signed with the Belgian-based label Alfa Matrix. On 3 June 2011 Larsen announced his split from Alfa Matrix in order to self-release future material. History According to founder Claus Larsen, "Leæther Strip is, and always will be, only him." Larsen was born on 13 November 1967 in Aalborg. He first released music under the name of Leæther Strip in 1989. However, his 1995 release ''G.A.W.M.U.S.'' (Getti ...

Danish Language
Danish (; , ) is a North Germanic language spoken by about six million people, principally in and around Denmark. Communities of Danish speakers are also found in Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and the northern German region of Southern Schleswig, where it has minority language status. Minor Danish-speaking communities are also found in Norway, Sweden, the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina. Along with the other North Germanic languages, Danish is a descendant of Old Norse, the common language of the Germanic peoples who lived in Scandinavia during the Viking Era. Danish, together with Swedish, derives from the ''East Norse'' dialect group, while the Middle Norwegian language (before the influence of Danish) and Norwegian Bokmål are classified as ''West Norse'' along with Faroese and Icelandic. A more recent classification based on mutual intelligibility separates modern spoken Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish as "mainland (or ''continental'') Scandinavian", while I ...

Jante Law
The Law of Jante (, da, Janteloven ) Norwegian nb, Janteloven , nn, Jantelova; is, Jantelögin; fo, Jantelógin; sv, Jantelagen ; fi, Janten laki . is a code of conduct created in fiction by the Danish- Norwegian author Aksel Sandemose and has been assumed by some to explain the egalitarian nature of Nordic countries. The attitudes were first formulated in the form of the ten rules in Sandemose's satirical novel ''A Fugitive Crosses His Tracks'' (, 1933), but the attitudes themselves are older. Sandemose portrays the fictional small Danish town of Jante, which he modelled upon his native town Nykøbing Mors in the 1930s, where nobody was anonymous, a feature of life typical of small towns. It is used generally in colloquial speech in the Nordic countries as a sociological term to denote a social attitude of disapproval towards expressions of individuality and personal success. Definition There are ten rules in the law as defined by Sandemose, all expressive of varia ...
