Paul Schwegler
Paul Anthony Schwegler (May 22, 1907 – December 7, 1980) was an American gridiron football player and actor, best known for playing college football at the University of Washington during 1929–1931. He was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1967. Biography Born in Chicago to immigrant parents from Germany and Russian Poland, Schwegler attended high school in Raymond, Washington, where he played football and basketball. Football Schwegler attended the University of Washington where he played as a tackle for the Huskies football program for the 1929–1931 seasons and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He served as captain of the 1931 football team. Schwegler was recognized as a standout player despite Washington compiling an overall 12–13–2 record during his three seasons. Fritz Schwegler
Fritz Schwegler (7 May 1935 – 3 June 2014) was a German painter, graphic artist, sculptor and musician. Life and work Born in the Swabian town of Breech near Göppingen, Schwegler was first apprenticed as a joiner to his father. He then traveled through the whole of Europe for three years, where he visited 21 cities. As an artist, he first appeared as an iconoclastic, uncanny creator of image collages and spoken performances, entitled "Effeschiaden", "Effeschiadiana", "Effeschiaturen", "Moritafeln", "Zehnerschaften", "Viererreihen" and "Urnotizen", which were also accompanied by photographs and film sequences, but later he also made sculptures out of wood and produced a series of 1000 bronze sculptures. Schwegler exhibited at the documentas 5 and 8 in Kassel. In 1999 he received the Hans Thoma Prize, and in 2003 he was awarded the Bernhard Heiliger Award of Sculpture for outstanding achievements in the field of sculpture. Pirmin Schwegler (born 9 March 1987) is a retired Swiss association football, footballer. Career Schwegler began his career with FC Luzern. In summer 2005, he joined BSC Young Boys, Young Boys. After just one year with BSC Young Boys, Young Boys he signed with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Bayer Leverkusen. On 18 July 2009, after three years with the "Werksclub", Schwegler signed with Eintracht Frankfurt. Emil Schwegler (April 22, 1879 – May 19, 1968) was a Swiss-born American gymnast, sports shooter and bowler. He competed at the 1904 Summer Olympics. Biography Schwegler was born in Basel, Switzerland, on April 22, 1879. He later moved to the United States with his family and became a naturalized citizen. He was said to have competed at the 1900 Summer Olympics for his home country, but this is unverified. In 1904, Schwegler was selected to represent the United States at that year's Olympics in gymnastics and athletics. He competed in the following events: men's triathlon (in gymnastics), men's triathlon (in athletics), men's artistic individual all-around (in gymnastics), and the men's team competition (in gymnastics). Heidi Schwegler (born 1967 in San Antonio, Texas) is an American artist in Yucca Valley, California. Biography Schwegler received her BFAs in Art History and Metals from the University of Kansas and her MFA from the University of Oregon. Schwegler is the founder of the Yucca Valley Material Lab, a space for thinking and making. Albert Schwegler (10 February 18195 January 1857) was a German philosopher and Protestant theologian. Biography Schwegler was born at Michelbach in Württemberg, the son of a country pastor. He entered the University of Tübingen in 1836, and was one of the earliest pupils of F. C. Baur, under whose influence he devoted himself to church history. His first work was ''Der Montanismus und die christliche Kirche des Zweiten Jahrhunderts'' (1841), in which he pointed out for the first time that Montanism was much more than an isolated outbreak of eccentric fanaticism in the early church, though he himself introduced fresh misconceptions by connecting it with Ebionitism as he conceived the latter.
