Anna Pestalozzi-Schulthess
Anna Pestalozzi-Schulthess (9 August 1738 – 11 December 1815) was a Swiss educator and philanthropist, wife of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, and financial administrator of the Pestalozzi-Institute. She funded the orphanages and schools of her husband, often being the only financial supporter of his projects. Family Anna Pestalozzi-Schulthess was born into the Schulthess family, a wealthy and renowned merchant family which ran a bakery and '' Konditorei'' ( confectionary) at the ''Rüdenplatz'' in Zürich. Walter Schulthess
__NOTOC__Walter Schulthess (24 July 1894 – 23 June 1971) was a Swiss conductor and composer. Schulthess was born in Zürich. He studied in Munich and Berlin, then returned to Zürich. He wrote instrumental and vocal music, and according to Nicolas Slonimsky "excelled in lyric songs, in a style resembling Othmar Schoeck's." He was married to the violinist Stefi Geyer from 1920 until her death in 1956, and with her and Paul Sacher Paul Sacher (28 April 190626 May 1999) was a Swiss conductor, patron and billionaire businessperson. Edmund Schulthess
Edmund Schulthess (2 March 1868 – 22 April 1944) was a Swiss politician and member of the Swiss Federal Council (1912–1935). Biography He was born on 2 March 1868 in Villnachern to Edmund Schulthess (1826–1906) and Cornelia Brigitta Marth (1828–1896). He was elected to the Swiss Federal Council on 17 July 1912 and handed over office on 15 April 1935. He was affiliated to the Free Democratic Party. During his time in office he held the following departments: * Department of Trade, Industry and Agriculture (1912–1914) * Department of Economic Affairs (1915–1935) He was President of the Confederation four times in 1917, 1921, 1928 and 1933.
