The School of Science and Technology, Singapore (simplified Chinese: ; traditional Chinese: 新科技中學; pinyin: ''xīn kē jì zhōng xué'') (abbreviation: SST) is a specialised independent secondary school in Singapore, offering a four-year Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level (O-Level) Programme or a six-year Integrated Diploma Programme. The school uses the Direct School Admissions (DSA) Exercise to obtain its cohort of about 200 students, including a written test and a selection camp. The school does not take part in the Secondary 1 Posting Exercise, and extra slots are filled in by the Supplementary Intake Exercise (SIE). The Ngee Ann Kongsi () is a charitable foundation located in Singapore and governed by the Ngee Ann Kongsi Ordinance of 1933. It is one of many Overseas Chinese Kongsi, or clan associations, that were set up by immigrants from China in the late 19th century. The foundation's name, Ngee Ann, is the old name for Chaozhou, which may also be transliterated as Teochew. The Teochew people reside in the eastern part of Guangdong province, China, a distinct racial group sharing the province with other communities such as the Cantonese and Hakka people.
