School Waltz
''School Waltz'' (russian: Школьный вальс, Shkolniy vals) is a 1978 Soviet coming-of-age drama film directed by Pavel Lyubimov. Plot Ten-graders Gosha Korablyov and Zosya Knushevitskaya are in love with each other. Before the last bell are only a few days. The young man is planning to become a volcanologist. It seems that after they finish school they will get married. But Dina, who is unrequitedly in love with Gosha, is constantly near him. Her influential parents are ready to ensure a successful life not only for their daughter, but also for the future son-in-law. And when during the final examinations Gosha learns that Zosya is pregnant, he goes to dinner with Dina on the same day. By this time he dances the school waltz with Dina. Zosya's mother takes her daughter to a hospital from which she ends up escaping, as she does not wish to get rid of the child. Zosya leaves her parents and gets a job at a construction site. Pavel Lyubimov
Pavel Grigoryevich Lyubimov (7 September 1938 – 23 June 2010) was a Russians, Russian film director and screenwriter. Biography In 1962, he graduated from the directing department of the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, State Institute of Cinematography (Studios Grigori Roshal, Roshal and Hanicke). In 1964 he began working at Gorky Film Studio. In 1964 his thesis film ''Aunt with Violets'' was awarded a festival prize in Kraków. He was awarded a Silver Dovzhenko Medal for his directing of the film ''Spring Appeal'', with Alexander Fatyushin and Igor Kostolevsky in the leading roles. Creatively Lyubimov had an inherent interest in contemporary issues hidden in everyday life. ''Women'' and ''Spring Appeal'' are among his most admired films. He was named a Merited Artist of the Russian Federation, Meritorious Artist of the Russian Federation in (2000). He died on 23 June 2010. Natalya Nikolaevna Khorokhorina (russian: Ната́лья Николаевна Хорохо́рина; Kharakhorina (russian: Харахорина); born in 1954) is a Soviet and Russian film and stage actress. Biography Natalya Nikolaevna Khorokhorina was born May 5, 1954, at the farm near the village of Moscow Vnukovo in Moscow region in a working-class family. As a schoolgirl, Natasha attended drama school at the Pioneers Palace. After high school, Natalya spent a year on self-education and additional documents filed immediately and Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, and Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School. She was accepted into both. She chose the Shchepkin School, and graduated in 1976, course of Viktor Korshunov. After graduation from the school, Natalia worked in the theaters Moscow Chamber Troupe, The Ark, Sphere. Natalia Khorokhorina also played at the Moscow Mayakovsky Theatre. Nina Yevgenyevna Menshikova (russian: Ни́на Евге́ньевна Ме́ньшикова ; 8 August 1928 – 26 December 2007) was a Soviet actress. Yury Mefodievich Solomin (russian: Ю́рий Мефо́диевич Соло́мин; born June 18, 1935 in Chita) is a Soviet and Russian actor and director who has been art director of the Maly Theatre in Moscow since 1988.
