Victor Félix Schiffner
Victor Félix Schiffner (10 August 1862, Böhmisch-Leipa – 1 December 1944, Baden bei Wien) was an Austrian bryologist specializing in the study of hepatics. Biography He studied natural sciences at the University of Prague, where he subsequently worked as a lecturer and as an assistant to Heinrich Moritz Willkomm at the botanical garden. In 1893-94 he was stationed in the Dutch East Indies, being based at the Buitenzorg herbarium on Java. In the meantime, he collected liverwort specimens on Java and Sumatra. In 1895 he returned to Prague, being appointed professor of botany at the university.Archive.org

Sepp Schiffner
Josef "Sepp" Schiffner (born 11 December 1930) was an Austrian and German Nordic skier who competed in the 1950s. He was born in Altaussee. Competing in the 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish of 11th in the Nordic combined event at Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956. Schiffner also finished 69th in the 18 km cross-country skiing event at Oslo in 1952. Christina Schiffner
Christina Schiffner ( Heinich; born 8 July 1949 in Leipzig) is a retired East German sprinter who specialized in the 200 metres. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich she finished fifth in the 200 metres and won silver medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay with her teammates Evelin Kaufer, Bärbel Struppert and Renate Stecher. She participated at three European Championships. In 1966 she finished fifth in relay, and in 1971 she finished eighth in the 200 m. At the 1974 European Championships she won the relay together with teammates Bärbel Eckert, Doris Maletzki and Renate Stecher.
