Scavengers (game Show)
''Scavengers'' was a British game show that aired on ITV from 23 July 1994 to 21 August 1995 and it was hosted by John Leslie. Plot summary The Commander of the shuttle-craft Vulture ( John Leslie) leads two teams of Scavengers to the stricken cargo ship Cyclops in an attempt to retrieve salvage. Each team of Scavengers is formed from one man and one woman. One team competes in yellow the other in red and the salvage they are attempting to recover is usually marked with their team colours. The Commander and The Scavengers are joined by a female android, played by actress Anna Galvin Anna Galvin (born 19 October 1969; also credited as Anna Glavan) is an Australian actress. A game show is a genre of broadcast viewing entertainment (radio, television, internet, stage or other) where contestants compete for a reward. Julian Grant
Julian Grant (born 3 October 1960) is an English-born classical composer best known for a series of operas. He is also known for chamber music works and his challenging children's music. He is active as composer, journalist, broadcaster and music educator. Biography Julian Grant was born in London, England, and educated at Chichester High School for Boys and Bristol University. In 1985 he won a British Arts Council scholarship to attend the Music Theatre Studio Ensemble at Banff, Alberta, Canada. John Leslie (television Presenter)
John Leslie (born John Leslie Stott; 22 February 1965) is a Scottish former television and radio presenter. Debuting on the Music Box channel in 1987, he later presented BBC One's '' Blue Peter'', and ITV's '' This Morning'' and the gameshow ''Wheel of Fortune''. He was also the studio host for the first series of the UK version of '' Survivor''. Personal life John Leslie Stott was born in Edinburgh, the brother of Grant Stott.
