Scattered Hamlet
Scattered Hamlet is a four-piece hard rock/ southern rock band formed in 2010 when lead vocalist Adam Joad created the original blueprint for the band with help from Otep guitarist Ari Mihalopoulos. They self-describe their musical style as "Honky Tonk Metal", and are known for their high-energy live show and intense touring schedule of over 100 shows a year. The band has played in over 40 U.S. states. Scattered Hamlet's music has been featured on CBS, CMT, Adult Swim, the Travel Channel, VEVO Entertainment, Travis Pastrana's Nitro Circus, and many more. Their 2013 debut album ''Skeleton Dixie'' featured a guest appearance by former Texas Hippie Coalition guitarist Randy Cooper. Travis Alan Pastrana (born October 8, 1983) is an American professional motorsports competitor and stunt performer who has won championships and X Games gold medals in several disciplines, including supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing. He runs a show called ''Nitro Circus'' and the rallycross racing series Nitro Rallycross. Twisted Sister
Twisted Sister was an American heavy metal band originally from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and later based on Long Island, New York. Their best-known songs include " We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock", both of which were associated with music videos noted for their sense of slapstick humor. Randy "The Arsonist" Cooper (born ) is the former guitarist for American rock band Emperors and Elephants as well as American red dirt metal band Texas Hippie Coalition. Cooper also acted as a session guitarist on American southern rock band Shotgun Rebellion's debut album'' Train of Pain ''in addition to performing on a limited number of dates with the band. History Cooper moved to Denison, Texas when he was 16 years of age. Having met Pantera shortly thereafter, and opening for them as part of Texas Hippie Coalition, he became attracted to Dean Guitars, and played the same Vintage 82 DEAN from 1989 until at least 2009. In 1991, an automobile accident in Oklahoma City turned the guitarist into a quadriplegic, confining him to a wheelchair and forcing him to regain his stride. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements.
