Scariot
Scariot is a Norwegian progressive metal band founded by Daniel Olaisen in 1997. The band has been through several lineup changes, and Olaisen is the only original member still remaining. Their fourth and latest album, ''Momentum Shift'', was released in Scandinavia in February and in Europe and North America in May 2007. Asgeir Mickelson (born 30 September 1969) is a Norwegian musician, artist, photographer and music reviewer. Although primarily known as a drummer, he is also a skilled guitarist and bassist. ''Ronny Thorsen'' (born 3 January 1978 in Kristiansand, Vest-Agder, Norway) is a Norwegian vocalist most notable for being the harsh vocalist, lyricist, and formerly the only constant member of the band Trail of Tears, until he left the band in 2013. He has also been a session vocalist for the bands Blood Red Throne and Scariot and was a guest for the band Tristania. For the 2005 Napalm Awards for Napalm Records, Ronny Thorsen placed third in the categories of Artist of the Year and Best Male Vocalist. Steve Di Giorgio (born November 7, 1967) is an American bass guitarist. He is known for working with numerous heavy metal bands such as Sadus (of whom he was one of the co-founders), Death, Testament, Megadeth, Sebastian Bach, Iced Earth, Autopsy, Obituary, Control Denied, Dragonlord and Charred Walls of the Damned, and he has performed on over 50 albums as a guest, session or full-time band musician. Spiral Architect was a Norwegian progressive metal band from Oslo. The group formed in 1993 and recorded one demo and one full-length album, '' A Sceptic's Universe,'' as well as a Fates Warning cover "A Prelude to Ruin" for the tribute album ''Through Different Eyes – A Tribute to Fates Warning''. Since that time, the various group's members have moved onto other bands and musical projects.
