Scarborough SC
Scarborough SC is a Canadian soccer team founded in 2014. The team is currently a member of the Canadian Soccer League, a league that is not sanctioned by a FIFA recognized body. The team plays home games out of Birchmount Stadium in the district of Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario. The team's colours are green, and black. History Scarborough SC was formed in 2014 as an expansion franchise in the Canadian Soccer League. Marking the return of professional soccer to Scarborough, Toronto since 2007 when the Canadian Lions held the territorial rights. Team owner Angel Belchev hired the services of CSL veteran Kiril Dimitrov to recruit players, and assumed the duties of general manager, and as head coach/player. He brought in several players with European experience including CSL veterans. Overseas recruitment consisted of Dobrin Orlovski, Tihomir Kosturkov, Mladen Kukrika, and Aleksandar Malbasic. Birchmount Stadium is a multi-purpose outdoor sports facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located near Kingston Road and Birchmount Road in the former city of Scarborough. Its original capacity was 6,345, and it was built for what was then the Borough of Scarborough. Downsview Park is a large urban park located in the Downsview neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The park's name is officially bilingual due to it being federally owned and managed, and was first home to de Havilland Canada, an aircraft manufacturer, and later was a Canadian Forces base. Krum Georgiev Bibishkov ( bg, Крум Георгиев Бибишков; born 2 September 1982) is a Bulgarian former footballer and football manager. His son, Marsel Bibishkov, is also a footballer, currently playing for Juventus FC Youth Sector. Vladimir Zelenbaba ( sr-cyr, Владимир Зеленбаба, ; born February 6, 1982) is a Serbian footballer who plays with Scarborough SC in the Canadian Soccer League. Camaal Reid (born 17 May 1988) is a Jamaican footballer playing with Scarborough SC in the Canadian Soccer League. Club career Jamaica Reid began playing in the National Premier League in 2009 with Sporting Central Academy. He re-signed with Sporting for the 2010–11 season and helped the team avoid relegation. Moussa Limane (born 7 May 1992) is a Central African professional footballer who plays as a striker for League1 Ontario club Hamilton United. FC Ukraine United is a Canadian soccer club founded in 2006. The team is currently a member of the Canadian Soccer League a league that is not sanctioned by any FIFA recognized body. The Canadian Soccer League championship final or CSL Championship is the post-season match of the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) and is the successor to the CNSL Championship.
