David Timothy Scarboro (3 February 1968 – 27 April 1988) was an English actor, best known for portraying Mark Fowler in the British soap opera ''EastEnders'' from the programme's inception in February 1985 until that April before appearing intermittently between 1986 and 1987. Career Early years Scarboro made his acting debut in ''Good Neighbours'', a television drama that aired on BBC in 1984 as part of a series of standalone teleplays for the anthology series ''Scene''. In the same year he appeared as a member of troublemaker Gluxo Remington's gang in episodes of the school drama series ''Grange Hill''. The script in his first episode called for Scarboro's character to chase Samuel "Zammo" McGuire across a children's playground in a park, and at one point jump over a see-saw. Colonel Edmund Scarborough (also spelled Scarburgh) (September 1617 – 1671) was an influential early settler of Virginia and member of the Virginia House of Burgesses from 1642 to 1671. Early life and family Scarborough was born in England. His father, Capt. Edmund Scarborough (1584–1635), was a barrister and graduate of Caius College, and an army captain, who immigrated to Virginia about 1621. Edmund Scarborough (Mississippi Politician)
Edmund Scarborough (May 1840 - ?) was an American minister, farmer and state legislator in Mississippi. He represented Holmes County, Mississippi in the Mississippi House of Representatives in 1870-1871. He was born enslaved in Greene County, Alabama in May 1840 and obtained his freedom in 1863. Eric Foner documented him as ''Edmond Scarborough'' and another newspaper listed him as ''Edward Scarborough''. He was married to Martha in 1857 with whom he was listed as living with in Holmes County in both the 1900 and 1910 census. In 1866 he built, along with his brother-in-law, the first "negro" Methodist church in the county. He served in the Mississippi House with William B. Williams and Cicero Mitchell from Holmes County. At the 1875 Holmes County Republican Convention he was assigned the position of ''Cotton Weigher''. Elizabeth Ann Scarborough (born March 23, 1947) is an American writer of science fiction and fantasy and Registered Nurse who lives in Port Townsend, Washington. She has published over 40 novels, as well as collaborating with Anne McCaffrey on multiple series. Biography Elizabeth Ann Scarborough grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. She was earned a RN from Bethany Hospital School of Nursing in 1968. George Scarborough (cowboy)
George Scarborough (October 2, 1859 – April 5, 1900) was a cowboy and lawman who lived during the time of the Wild West. He is best known for having killed outlaw John Selman, killer of John Wesley Hardin, and for his partnership with lawman Jeff Milton, with the pair bringing down several outlaws during their time together. Early life, controversial killing Scarborough was born in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. His family moved to Texas, where for a while he worked as a cowboy. In 1885, he was appointed sheriff for Jones County. He would later work as a Deputy US Marshal in and around El Paso, Texas. On June 21, 1895, while working alongside El Paso police chief Jeff Milton, Scarborough shot and killed Martin M'Rose, a Texas rustler.
