Sayahnam
''Sayahnam'' ( en, Twilight) is a 2000 Malayalam feature film that marks the directorial debut of R. Sarath with screenplay by himself. The film is a drama centred on the environmental and anti-nuclear issue in India. It stars O. Madhavan, Gomathi Mahadevan, Ebrahim Kutty and Alex Kadavil. It won seven Kerala State Film Awards and two National Film Awards. Plot An old man K.K. Madhavan noted for his thinking and stance on social issues is proud of his scientist son Siddharthan but upset about the country's involvement in nuclear tests. He continues his crusade against nuclear weapons but together with his loyal wife Bharathi finds himself increasingly isolated as his own son, his party and the country celebrate the nuclear advances made in India. A V Gokuldas (Art Director)
A.V.Gokuldas is a production designer (Art Director) in the Indian film industry. He has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Production Design four times. His work in Kammatipaadam won him international recognition. Over the years, he has emerged to become the celebrated art director in the state. Beena Paul
Bina Paul (born January 28, 1961), also known by her married name Bina Paul Venugopal, is an Indian film editor who works mainly in Malayalam-language films. A graduate of the University of Delhi, she completed a course on film editing from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, in 1983. She is the recipient of two National Film Awards and three Kerala State Film Awards. She has held several positions including the artistic director of International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) and the vice chairperson of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. Kerala State Film Awards
The Kerala State Film Awards are the film awards for a motion picture made in Kerala. The awards started in 1969 by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala and since 1998 the awards have been bestowed by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs. The awardees are decided by an independent jury formed by the academy and the Department of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Kerala. The jury usually consists of eminent personalities from the film field. For the awards for literature on cinema a separate jury is formed. The academy annually invites films for the award and the jury analyses the films that are submitted before deciding the winners. Vidhu Prathap
Vidhu Prathap (born 1 September 1980) is an Indian playback singer. He has sung many songs in over 600 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. Career Early life Vidhu Prathap was born in 1980 in Kaithamukku in Trivandrum, Kerala, as the son of Prathapan and Laila.
