''Say Less'' is the second studio album by Canadian recording artist Roy Woods. The album was released on December 1, 2017, by OVO Sound, Warner Records and Unlock The Underground. It features guest appearances from OVO labelmates PartyNextDoor and Dvsn, alongside 24hrs and PnB Rock. It is preceded by one single; "What Are You On?". Background On March 9, 2017, the album's title was announced by Roy Woods via Twitter. The tracklist, release date and pre-order for the album was revealed on November 17, 2017. Singles The first promotional single, "Say Less" was released on the November 17, 2017, same date of the album's tracklist and release date reveal. Denzel Spencer (born April 18, 1996), better known by his stage name Roy Woods (also stylized as Roy Wood$), is a Canadian singer and rapper. Woods is signed to OVO Sound, the record label co-founded by Canadian rapper and singer Drake, record producer Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib. Woods is also the founder of his own collective, Unlock The Underground. Early life Denzel Spencer was born April 18, 1996, in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. For over three years, Woods attended Turner Fenton High School and eventually made a decision to move to St. Augustine Secondary School during his final year. Before his music career took off, he was often recognized for his commitment and talent in the sport of football. The origin of his name "Roy" comes from a youth that lived in the same building as him from Brampton. Woods took a survey throughout his high school and "Roy Wood$" seemed to be the winning ticket. Rakim Hasheem Allen (December 9, 1991 – September 12, 2022), better known by his stage name PnB Rock, was an American rapper and singer. He gained a large following in 2016 with his song "Selfish", which peaked at number 51 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, as well as his feature on the song "Cross Me" by Ed Sheeran, alongside Chance the Rapper. He also provided uncredited vocals on XXXTentacion's hit single "Changes", which reached the top 20 on the same chart. He released two studio albums, ''Catch These Vibes'' (2017) and ''TrapStar Turnt PopStar'' (2019), the latter of which reached the top five on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart.
