"Say It with Love" is the lead single from The Moody Blues 1991 album ''Keys of the Kingdom''. Written by Justin Hayward, it was released as a single in June 1991, with "Lean on Me (Tonight)" on the B-side. The Moody Blues were an English rock music, rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964, initially consisting of keyboardist Mike Pinder, multi-instrumentalist Ray Thomas, guitarist Denny Laine, drummer Graeme Edge and bassist Clint Warwick. The group came to prominence playing rhythm and blues. They made some changes in musicians but settled on a line-up of Pinder, Thomas, Edge, guitarist Justin Hayward and bassist John Lodge (musician), John Lodge, who stayed together for most of the band's "classic era" into the early 1970s. Edge was the group’s sole continuous member throughout their entire history. Keys Of The Kingdom
The keys of the kingdom is a Christian concept of eternal church authority. Christians believe it was established in the 1st century AD, initially through Saint Peter, then through the rest of the 12 Apostles. The latter, continuing with the early Church Fathers, would eventually comprise the early church and its doctrine. It is this authority, having been given the ''keys'', that subsequent doctrinal points have been built upon. The authority can be literally traced to one passage in the New Testament, where Jesus mentions them first in response to St. Peter answering a question, and secondly in speaking to a group of disciples. In these two instances, the concept of authority follows having been given the "keys of the kingdom of heaven", and regards loosing and binding things on earth, and thus, having loosened and bound the same in heaven ( Matthew 16:19, Matthew 18:18). David Justin Hayward (born 14 October 1946) is an English musician best known as the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of the rock band the Moody Blues. Christopher Neil (born 1948) is an Irish-born British record producer, songwriter, singer, and actor. "No More Lies" is the second single released from the Moody Blues 1988 album '' Sur la Mer''. As a single, it charted at #15 on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1988. Like the album's previous single, "I Know You're Out There Somewhere," "No More Lies" was also written by Justin Hayward. Hayward sings the lead vocals and John Lodge provides counterpoint with his backing vocals. Music journalist Geoffrey Freakes described "No More Lies" as being a "breezy acoustic and electric guitar-driven tune" but said that "although mildly memorable, it's the kind of song you feel aywardcould dash off in his sleep." Freakes described the drum and bass parts as sounding "synthetic" but the keyboards as "stirring". John Charles Lodge (born 20 July 1945) is an English musician, best known as bass guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter of the longstanding rock band the Moody Blues. He has also worked as a record producer and has collaborated with other musicians outside the band. In 2018, Lodge was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Moody Blues.
