''Say Cheese'' (Chinese: 西瓜甜不甜) was a Singaporean drama produced by Mediacorp Studios and telecast on Mediacorp Channel 8. It consisted of 20 episodes and was aired at 9 pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8 am the following day. Synopsis Peace Photography Studio is an established but traditional studio founded 80 years ago and had 5 branches in its heyday. Now, there's only a single studio left and is managed by Pan Renyi (Richard Low) and daughter Pan Zejia (Joanne Peh). Pan Zejia quietly helped out at the studio as she feels indebted to Pan Renyi who helped her settle a huge debt 10 years ago, and as a result, she remained single since then. The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star. History The 1st Star Awards presentation was held on 26 February 1994, took place at the Caldecott Broadcast Centre, MediaCorp TV Theatre with an audience of about 500 people. Star Awards 2019 (also SA25, Chinese: 红星大奖25) is a television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. Star Awards 2019 marks the 25th anniversary, or Silver Jubilee, of the Star Awards since it was first awarded in 1994, hence subtitled ''Star Awards 25''. The theme for the ceremony is "The Moment", highlighting the best moments of the local television industries alongside Singapore's talents and audiences as well. This is also the first award ceremony to feature a vocalized version of the Awards' theme tune, titled 《星光》(lit. "Starlight"). The Walk Of Fame and Ceremony Awards was broadcast live on 14 April 2019. The Walk Of Fame will be followed by the Awards Ceremony. Eelyn Kok
Eelyn Kok Hui Wen () is a Singaporean actress. She was prominently a full-time MediaCorp artist from 2001 to 2013, but continues to film on an ad hoc basis. Career Kok was first spotted in SPH MediaWorks's talent show ''Route to Glamour'' in 2001 and was a contestant alongside Jeanette Aw and Adam Chen. Although she did not win, she was offered a contract with MediaWorks and later joined MediaCorp in 2005 when the two companies merged. Kok started her acting career playing supporting roles in her starting years, frequently portraying villainous characters such as in ''The Little Nyonya''. She was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress category in 2009 but lost to winners Xiang Yun and Ng Hui.
