The Singles (Feeder Album)
''The Singles'' is Feeder's second UK compilation album, following the limited release b-sides album ''Picture of Perfect Youth''. The album has 18 of their UK top 40 hit single tracks (if "Shatter" and "Tender" are separately counted), with the exception of "Day In Day Out" and "Find The Colour", and includes the limited edition Arena Tour single "Comfort In Sound" and three new tracks, "Lost And Found", "Burn The Bridges" and "Save Us". "Lost and Found" and "Save Us" were released as singles to promote the compilation shortly before and after its release, charting at #12 and #34 in the UK respectively, while "Shatter" was released to promote the compilation, shortly after the band announced its release plans in October 2005. "Burn The Bridges" is the only song on the compilation which was not released as a single. It was the first time the singles "Suffocate" (a re-recorded version) and "Shatter" had a parent album connected to them while "Just a Day" (the edited version) had ...

Music Week
''Music Week'' is a trade publication for the UK record industry distributed via a website and a monthly print magazine. It is published by Future. History Founded in 1959 as '' Record Retailer'', it relaunched on 18 March 1972 as ''Music Week''. On 17 January 1981, the title again changed, owing to the increasing importance of sell-through videos, to ''Music & Video Week''. The rival ''Record Business'', founded in 1978 by Brian Mulligan and Norman Garrod, was absorbed into Music Week in February 1983. Later that year, the offshoot ''Video Week'' launched and the title of the parent publication reverted to ''Music Week''. Since April 1991, ''Music Week'' has incorporated ''Record Mirror'', initially as a 4 or 8-page chart supplement, later as a dance supplement of articles, reviews and charts. In the 1990s, several magazines and newsletters become part of the Music Week family: ''Music Business International (MBI)'', ''Promo'', ''MIRO Future Hits'', ''Tours Report'', ''Fono ...

Echo Records
The Echo Label was a British record label started by Chrysalis Group in 1994, and linked with Pony Canyon in Japan. The Chrysalis Group were the original owners of Chrysalis Records, which they sold to EMI. In 2005, The Echo Label recorded a loss of over £2.0 million. The decision was taken to restructure the business at the beginning of the 2006 financial year, into an "incubator" for developing writer-artists with the intention of "upstreaming" them to a major label. The signings which resulted from this included Bat for Lashes, Steven Lindsay, Rosalie Deighton, Jacob Golden and Sarabeth Tucek. They would continue to release records for their established artists Feeder and Morcheeba. However, in a Chrysalis Group report dated 15 August 2008, it was stated that The Echo Label had performed below management's expectations and had not upstreamed any artists in this period, other than Bat For Lashes, who were transferred to Parlophone in early 2007. In May 2013, Sony Music En ...

Lost And Found (Feeder Song)
"Lost and Found" is a single from UK rock band Feeder (band), Feeder and is one of three new songs featured on their compilation album, ''The Singles (Feeder album), The Singles''. It was the second single from the compilation after "Shatter" was a double A-side with "Tender". The song was voted 79th best song of 2006 by the readers of Q Magazine. The music video features Feeder playing in an abandoned community centre and a street gang. The vinyl set also includes a 1998 recording named "Uptight", which features Jon Lee (drummer), Jon Lee playing drums. The music video uses quick switching of the scenes featuring the band and the gang, this has been noted by many who have seen the video as off-putting due to the speed the scene changes are made which were likened to that of those that can cause epileptic seizures. Lost and Found was supported for the first time with a series of digital downloads, recorded live during each date of the bands delayed 2005–2006 tour, and helped th ...

We Are The People (Feeder Song)
"We Are the People" was the first and only top 40 single from Feeder's sixth studio album, '' Silent Cry''. The single was released on 9 June 2008, receiving its first radio play on Kerrang! Radio, two months before on 14 April. It charted at #25 in the UK becoming Feeder's landmark 20th top 40 single, but also their last to date after follow-up " Tracing Lines / Silent Cry" missed the top 200 alongside being their least successful lead single from any of their albums since 1999. "We Are the People" is also the first Feeder single since 1997's "Crash", to miss the BBC Radio 1 playlist and also the first of their singles since that one to only spend one week on the UK top 75. It was included on XFM's top 100 tracks of 2008 list. Although the single made No.2 on the physical sales chart, this was already at a time where artists rarely released CD singles and sales were already declining making a very small percentage of the sales market. The physical chart was already irrelevant ...
