Savaş Dinçel (1 April 1942 – 20 December 2007) was a Turkish actor . Biography Savaş Dinçel was born in 1942 in İstanbul. He studied at Koca Ragıp Paşa Primary School and İstanbul Erkek High School, before studying theatre at İstanbul Municipal Conservatory. For some time, he drew cartoons for the Günaydın paper at the Comedy Education Centre and became well known for his "Tonton' caricatures. Then he worked at the Münir Özkul Theatre, AST Theatre, YEN-AR Theatre before forming the Miyatro Vatandaş Theatre. In 1997, he played İsmet İnönü in the film ''Kurtuluş'' directed by Ziya Öztan and 'Berber Al' in the film '' Ağır Roman'' directed by Mustafa Altıoklar Mustafa Altıoklar (born 1958) is a Turkish film director, producer and screenwriter. İsmet İnönü
Mustafa İsmet İnönü (; 24 September 1884 – 25 December 1973) was a Turkish army officer and statesman of Kurdish descent, who served as the second President of Turkey from 11 November 1938 to 22 May 1950, and its Prime Minister three times: from 1923 to 1924, 1925 to 1937, and 1961 to 1965. İnönü is acknowledged by many as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's right-hand man, with their friendship going back to the Gallipoli campaign. Kurtuluş
Kurtuluş is a neighbourhood of the Şişli district of Istanbul that was originally called ''Tatavla,'' meaning 'stables' in Greek ( el, Ταταύλα). The modern Turkish name means "liberation", "salvation", "independence" or "deliverance". On 13 April 1929, six years after the Republic of Turkey was founded, a fire swept through the neighbourhood and largely destroyed it, with 207 houses going up in flames. The name was changed to Kurtuluş to mark the rebuilding of the area. Once a predominantly Greek Orthodox neighbourhood, its population today mostly consists of Turks who moved there after the Republic of Turkey was founded in 1923. Ağır Roman (film)
''Cholera Street'' (Original Turkish title: ''Ağır Roman'', literally meaning "Heavy Romani") is a 1997 Turkish film directed by Mustafa Altıoklar, adapted from Metin Kaçan's best selling novel '' Ağır Roman''. Plot The film is set in a rundown, crime ridden neighborhood of Istanbul dubbed "Cholera Street" (Kolera Sokağı). Salih is a mechanic and son of a respected barber Ali. A woman Tina arrives at Cholera street where she takes up residence and works as a prostitute. Deniz is a gangster who gives himself the nickname "Reiss" ("Chief"), tries to take control of the neighbourhood through intimidation. After Reiss takes over a horse stable and causes the suicide of the owner, Arap Sado (a close friend of Salih) challenges Reiss to a knife duel and after defeating him, demands that he leave the neighborhood.
