Savage Reign
''Savage Reign'' is 1995 weapon-based versus fighting game released by SNK for their Neo Geo arcade and home platform. It was ported to the Neo Geo CD, as well as for the PlayStation 2 along with its sequel ''Kizuna Encounter'' in Japan only (as part of the ''Fūun Super Combo''). This compilation was re-released in the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 in December 2016. Plot ''Savage Reign'' is set in the first half of the 21st century in the fictional city of South Town (the same city used in the ''Fatal Fury'' and ''Art of Fighting'' series), which has now been upgraded and renamed as "''Jipang City''". Eikichi Kawasaki
is a Japanese video game hardware and software company. It is the successor to the company Shin Nihon Kikaku and presently owns the SNK video game brand and the Neo Geo video game platform. SNK's predecessor Shin Nihon Kikaku was founded in 1978 by Eikichi Kawasaki. The corporation was initially named . In 1981, the name was informally shortened to SNK Corporation, which became the company's official name in 1986.
