Saucisse
Saucisse (–2014) was a dachshund who gained fame in France as the protagonist of a book series. He was a candidate at the 2001 mayoral elections of Marseille, and appeared on the third season of ''Secret Story 2009 (France), Secret Story'' in 2010. Biography 1998-2000 At an early age, the dog was found in the garbage by the Société Protectrice des Animaux (Society for the Protection of Animals). He underwent several operations and was finally saved. He waited eight months behind the bars of his cage before being adopted by the team of L'Écailler du Sud, a Marseille publishing house of detective novels, notably by the writer Serge Scotto who made him his mascot and named him Saucisse ("Sausage"). 2000-2014 Saucisse quickly became the hero of many novels and his reputation began to spread across the Marseille region. Secret Story 2009 (France)
''Secret Story 2009'' is the fifth edition of the French version of the popular reality show Big Brother carrying on from the previous similar show, Loft Story. It began airing on TF1 on June 19, 2009 and continue to air until September 25, 2009, lasting 99 days, and is presented by Benjamin Castaldi, who presented Loft Story and the first two seasons of Secret Story. Principle The principle is similar to that of Loft Story. Roquemaure, Gard
Roquemaure (; oc, Ròcamaura; Provençal dialect, Provençal: ''Recamaulo'') is a small town and Communes of France, commune in the Gard Departments of France, department of southern France. The town lies north of Avignon on the right bank of the Rhône. In 2017 the commune had a population of 5,481. Roquemaure was the site of a royal castle during the medieval period but after the French Revolution the castle was dismantled and now only two towers remain. In the 18th century Roquemaure was the centre of attempts to regulate the production of wine in the area and the term "Côte du Rhône" was coined. The town is infamous as the site where phylloxera, a pest of grapevines, was introduced into France from North America via England in the 1860s. Benjamin Castaldi (; born 28 March 1970) is a French television host, columnist, radio host and producer. He is the former host of '' Secret Story'' which is a spinoff of '' Loft Story'' that he hosted as well.
