The Satyendra K. Dubey Memorial Award is an award named after Satyendra Dubey and presented by the IIT-Kanpur. It is awarded annually to an IIT alumnus who displays the highest levels of professional integrity in upholding human values. The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are central government owned public technical institutes located across India. They are under the ownership of the Ministry of Education of the Government of India. They are governed by the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961, declaring them as Institutes of National Importance and laying down their powers, duties, and framework for governance as the country's premier institutions in the field of technology. Rahul Sharma (Gujarat Police)
Rahul Sharma is an ex Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Gujarat cadre turned practicing lawyer with Gujarat High Court. He was inducted into the service in 1992. He played a crucial role in policing operations during the 2002 Gujarat riots. He was seconded to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in 2004, and served there for the next three years. Trilochan Sastry
Prof. Trilochan Sastry was formerly the Dean (Academics) at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is also a political activist, chairman of the Association for Democratic Reforms, and a frontline leader of the Right to Information campaign. Education Sastry obtained his bachelor's degree in Technology from IIT Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. Afterwards, he obtained his PhD from MIT, USA. Raju Narayanaswamy (born 24 May 1968) is an Indian Administrative Service officer and whistleblower. A district collector for five Kerala districts during his career, Narayanaswamy was one of several IAS officers chosen by former chief minister V. S. Satyendra Dubey
Satyendra Dubey (1973–2003) was an Indian Engineering Service (IES) officer. He was the Project Director in the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) at Koderma, Jharkhand. He was murdered in Gaya, Bihar, allegedly for his anti-corruption related actions in the Golden Quadrilateral highway construction project.
