Satyendra Kappu (born Satyendra Sharma; also credited as Satyen Kappu; 7 February 1931 – 27 October 2007), was an Indian character actor in Bollywood films. He has acted in 390 films. His most remembered role is Ramlal in the movie ''Sholay'' (1975) and as Amitabh Bachchan's father in Yash Chopra's ''Deewaar''. Khote Sikkay
''Khote Sikkay'' () is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language action-adventure film directed by Narendra Bedi, starring Feroz Khan and Danny Denzongpa as part of a gang of men hired by a villager to save his village from the dacoits. The film also stars Rehana Sultan, Ranjeet, Leela Mishra, Paintal, Ajit and Ranjeet. The lyrics are by Majrooh Sultanpuri, while the music was provided by R.D. Burman. It was inspired by the Western genre, complete with horses and ponchos. Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) is the oldest association of theatre-artists in India. IPTA was formed in 1943 during the British rule in India, and promoted themes related to the Indian freedom struggle. Its goal was to bring cultural awakening among the people of India. Beginning The Bangalore unit of IPTA was formed in 1941. IPTA was formed on 25 May 1943 at the National conference of theater artists held at the Marwari school, Bombay in response to the need for theater artists to become part of the Indian freedom struggle.
