Satyawart Kadian
Satyawart Kadian (born 9 November 1993) is an Indian wrestler. He first represented India at the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympics where he won a bronze medal in the boys' freestyle 100 kg category. He then represented India in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and won a silver medal in the 97 kg weight class. Personal life He is the son of Satyawan Kadian, an Arjuna Awardee and 1988 Summer Olympics Olympian. Having trained in the akhada run under his father, he broke into the national camp in 2012 after a stellar performance at the 2012 Nationals in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. In 2014, Chief coach Vinod Kumar, who was a teammate of his father's during the 1988 Olympics, is confident that Kadian, competing in a higher weight category will ensure him medals. Arjuna Award
The Arjuna Award, officially known as Arjuna Awards for Outstanding Performance in Sports and Games, is the second-highest sporting honour of India, the highest being the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. The award is named after Arjuna, one of the characters of the Sanskrit epic ''Mahabharata'' of ancient India. He is the main protagonist of the epic. Sushil Kumar Solanki (born 26 May 1983) is a former Indian wrestler. He carried the Indian flag at the opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympics. His 2008 Olympic medal was second for India in wrestling, and the first since Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav's bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics. In July 2009, he received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna – India's highest honour for sportspersons. Gonda district (Hindi: गोण्डा/गोंडा, Urdu: گونڈہ) is one of the districts of Uttar Pradesh, India. The city of Gonda is the district headquarters, and also the administrative centre for the Devipatan Division. The total area of Gonda district is . In Hinduism, Savitri and Satyavan ( sa, सावित्री ''Sāvitrī'' and ''Satyavān'') are a legendary couple, known for Savitri's love and devotion to her husband Satyavan. According to the legend, princess Savitri marries an exiled prince named Satyavan, who was prophesied to die early. The later part of legend focuses on Savitri's wit and love, which saved her husband from the death god Yama. The oldest known version of the story of Savitri and Satyavan is found in ''Vana Parva'' ("The Book of the Forest") of the ''Mahabharata''.
