Saturday Live Again!
''Saturday Live Again!'' was a one-off live special of the comedy variety show '' Saturday Live'', broadcast on 1 December 2007. It was commissioned by Paul Jackson, the Director of Comedy and Entertainment for ITV, and the originator of '' Saturday Live'', after realising that it had been 21 years since the show had first aired. The show was shot in the same studio as Saturday Live, with the same inflatables, and with Ben Elton among the contributors. Hosted by Marcus Brigstocke, the show featured performances from Mitchell and Webb, Bon Jovi, Jimmy Carr, and Lee Mack, among others. The full lineup included performances from Jo Caulfield, Justin Edwards, Ben Elton, Jocelyn Jee Esien, Pete Firman, Hard Fi, The Human Slinky, Lee Mack, David Mitchell, Robert Webb, We Are Klang ( Greg Davies, Steve Hall and Marek Larwood), Bon Jovi, and Myleene Klass. Saturday Live (British TV Programme)
''Saturday Live'' (retitled ''Friday Night Live'' for the 1988 series and 2022 one-off special) is a British television comedy and music show, made by London Weekend Television, LWT and initially broadcast on Channel 4 from 1985 to 1988, with a brief revival on ITV in 1996. A few one-off editions have also been screened sporadically, including a contribution to the BBC's 1993 Comic Relief telethon. It was based on the American sketch comedy show ''Saturday Night Live'' although it had no direct connection to the show. The series made stars of Ben Elton and Harry Enfield, and featured appearances (in some cases first television appearances) by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, Patrick Marber, Morwenna Banks, Chris Barrie, Julian Clary, Emo Philips, Tracey Ullman, Craig Ferguson, Craig Charles and many others. Peter "Pete" Firman (born 26 April 1980) is an English magician, comedian and television presenter. He has appeared in magic shows on BBC1, ITV, Channel 4, Five, and Sky1. David Tyler (born 24 June 1961) is a British television and radio comedy producer, executive producer, and director. He is co-founder of the independent production company Pozzitive Television, which he set up in 1992 with Geoff Posner. Geoff Posner
Geoffrey Harold Posner (born 7 July 1949) is a British television producer and director. Posner has directed and produced some of Britain's most successful comedy shows since the early 1980s. Career Starting off as a director on the satirical show ''Not the Nine O'Clock News'', he also directed Revolting Women for BBC Manchester in 1981, a sketch show featuring amongst others Jeni Barnett and Linda Broughton, and in 1982 went on to direct the groundbreaking BBC2 anti-sitcom '' The Young Ones''. Myleene Angela Klass (born 6 April 1978) is a British musician, singer, presenter, model and businesswoman. Marek Ryan Larwood (born 2 June 1976) is an English comedian and actor. He is best known for the BBC Three sketch show ''Rush Hour'' and for being one third of the comedy trio ''We Are Klang''. We Are Klang
''We Are Klang'' is a British comedy sketch show, starring Greg Davies, Steve Hall and Marek Larwood, and produced for BBC Three. The programme was short-lived, only running for six episodes in 2009, between 30 July to 10 September, and focused on the antics of the three as town council members for the fictional town of Klangbury, often having to deal with a serious problem that would result in them being fired if not resolved. Hard-Fi are an English indie rock band, formed in 2003 in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey.
