Sathyabhama (actress)
Sathyabhama is an Indian actress in the Kannada film industry. Her films include ''Golmaal Radhakrishna'' (1990), ''Bandhana'' (1984), and '' Nanjundi Kalyana'' (1989). Career Before became an actress in films, she acted in Kannada theatre. She is the daughter of P. Kalinga Rao's nephew. In her 25 years of theatre career, she was widely recognized for her role ''Rani Chennamma'' in the drama ''Veera Rani Chennamma''. After watching her performance in the drama, director S. Siddalingaiah offered Sathyabhama a role in his film Hemavathi in 1977, which marked her entry to films. Sathyabhama has appeared in more than two hundred Kannada films. Udupi District
Udupi district (also Udipi or Odipu in Tulu language) is an administrative subdivision in the Karnataka state of India, with the district headquarters in the city of Udupi. It is situated in the Canara coastal region, there are seven taluks, 233 villages and 21 towns in Udupi district. The three northern tehsils of Udupi, Kundapur and Karkala, were partitioned from Dakshina Kannada district (South Canara) to form Udupi district on 25 August 1997. Moodabidri was officially declared as new tehsil (taluk), separated from Karkala with effect from 11 January 2018. In February 2018, the district was split to into 3 more taluks, with Byndoor being carved out of Kundapur taluk and the Udupi taluk being split into three parts. ''Orange'' is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film directed by Prashant Raj and produced by Naveen starring Ganesh in the lead, making it a second collaboration after ''Zoom'' (2016), alongside Priya Anand. Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. The 1934 film ''Sati Sulochana'' directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film in the Kannada language. It was also the first film starring Subbaiah Naidu and Tripuramba, and was the first motion picture screened in the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom.
