Sasuraiger
is a mecha anime series that aired from 1983 to 1984 in Japan. There were 43 episodes aired. Other loosely translated names include ''Sasuryger'', ''Sasreiger'', ''Galaxy Whirlwind Sasuraiger'' and ''Wonder Six''. It is the sequel to '' Galactic Gale Baxingar'' and the final entry of the J9 Series. The original concept was adopted from the novel '' Around the World in Eighty Days''. is a mecha anime series that aired from 1982 to 1983 in Japan. There were 39 episodes released. Other loosely translated names include ''Baxinger'', ''Galaxy Gale Baxingar'', ''Galactic Stormwind Baxingar'' and ''Cosmo Rangers''. In addition, it was known as "Mustanger" while sold as a knock-off toy in the United States during the early 80's. Kazuo Komatsubara
was a Japanese animator, animation director and character designer born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He worked as an independently contracted character designer for Toei Animation in the 1970s and 1980s. He was a member of the board of directors of animation studio Oh! Production (which he helped found along with Norio Shioyama, Kōichi Murata, and Kōshin Yonekawa). He died on March 24, 2000 due to a cancerous tumor on his neck. Toshikazu Shiozawa ( ja, 塩沢 敏一, Shiozawa Toshikazu, January 28, 1954 – May 10, 2000), better known by the stage name Kaneto Shiozawa ( ja, 塩沢 兼人, Shiozawa Kaneto), was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Tokyo. At the time of his death, he was attached to Aoni Production. The Convertors were a line of action figures manufactured by Select in the 1980s. Often compared to the more famous Gobots and Transformers, the Convertors were a line of toys which came out at about the same time and also featured transforming robots. History The Convertors licensed some of their toy designs from Bandai just as was done for the Transformers, meaning some of the toys looked very similar. The molds for Convertors were later knocked off by other toy companies. Convertors toys were featured in a display in the 1985 J. C. Penney Christmas catalog. was a Japanese toy company active during the 1970s and early 1980s. While responsible for many robots, action-figures and vehicles, they are today mainly known for making the original Macross toys. During the 1970s Takatoku made toys based on shows such as Ultraman Leo, Hurricane Polimar, and even Mach Go Go Go (years after the show had aired).
