Highway 15 is a highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It runs from Highway 4, south of Rosetown, to Highway 16, southeast of Bredenbury. Highway 15 is about long. The Outlook Bridge carries Highway 15 across the South Saskatchewan River. Major communities serviced by Highway 15 are Outlook and Melville. The highway parallels the main line of the Canadian National Railway between Nokomis and Melville. In 2020, major repairs took place between highway 19 intersection and highway 11 near Kenaston. Rosetown, Saskatchewan
Rosetown is a town in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, at the junction of provincial Highway 7 and Highway 4, approximately 115 km southwest of Saskatoon. The town's motto, "The Heart of the Wheat Belt" reflects its history of being a farming community. A referendum was held in 2001, spearheaded by resident Teneal Crossman, to change the motto to “The Heart of the Meat Belt” to reflect the booming beef industry. The motto remained unchanged in a landslide vote supporting the original motto and Crossman soon left town. It is the largest town located in the ''Rural Municipality St. Andrew's 287, Saskatchewan''. Rosetown belongs currently to the federal electoral district of Saskatoon—Rosetown—Biggar which was formerly known as Saskatoon—Rosetown. Saskatchewan Highway 16
Highway 16 is a provincial highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is the Saskatchewan section of the Yellowhead Highway, and also the Trans-Canada Highway Yellowhead section. The main purpose of this highway is to connect Saskatchewan with Canadian cities such as Edmonton and Winnipeg. The highway runs from the Alberta boundary in Lloydminster (50th Avenue or Highway 17) to the Manitoba boundary near Marchwell. Major cities it passes through are Saskatoon, North Battleford in the central part of the province, Yorkton in the far east and Lloydminster to the far west. Part of the highway is a divided four-lane limited-access road that runs from the Alberta-Saskatchewan border to just west of the village of Bradwell, with the remaining part to the Manitoba border being an undivided two-lane highway. Gardiner Dam
The Gardiner Dam on the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatchewan is the third largest embankment dam in Canada and one of the largest embankment dams in the world. Construction on Gardiner Dam and the smaller Qu'Appelle River Dam was started in 1959 and completed in 1967, creating Lake Diefenbaker upstream and diverting a considerable portion of the South Saskatchewan's flow into the Qu'Appelle River. The dam rises 64 metres (209 feet) in height, is almost long and has a width of at its base with a volume of 65,000,000 cubic meters. The dam is owned and operated by the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency. Bounty (formally known as Botany) is an unincorporated community in Fertile Valley No. 285 Saskatchewan, Canada. The population was 5 at the 2001 Census. It previously held the status of village until November 25, 1997. The community is located on Range Road 104 and Township Road 300, about west of Outlook. At one time Bounty was said to have nobody living in the community.
