Sarigamalu
''Sarigamalu'' is a 1993 Indian Telugu-language musical drama film directed by Kranthi Kumar and written by Hariharan. It is a remake of Hariharan's 1992 Malayalam film '' Sargam''. The film stars Vineeth (in his Telugu debut), Manoj K. Jayan, and Rambha, while J. V. Somayajulu, P. J. Sarma, and Tanikella Bharani play supporting roles. Plot Kitappa is the son of Sathyavathi. Kitappa has suffered from epilepsy since his childhood. He is rough and violent in his character and is feared by all in the village. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs. Early life Veturi was born to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli, near Challapalli, Krishna into a Telugu Brahmin family. Kranthi Kumar
Talasila Kranthi Kumar was an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He won two Filmfare Awards and four Nandi Awards. In 1985, he directed '' Sravanthi'', which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu that year. In 1991, he directed '' Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu'', which was premiered in the Indian panorama section, at the 1991 International Film Festival of India. In 2000 he directed ''9 Nelalu'', premiered retrospective at the Toronto International Film Festival. He has garnered the National Film Award, five state Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South. After a successful career in Hindi cinema, he took a break from the 1970s to 1984, and made a successful comeback in the Malayalam music scene under the stage name Bombay Ravi.
