''Sargavasantham'' ( ml, സർഗ്ഗവസന്തം) is an Indian Malayalam film directed by Anil Das. It was the directorial debut of Anil Das who later did the science fiction film ''Bharathan'' in 2007. Plot The film portrays a superstitious Hindu family. Anil Das
Anil Das is a Malayalam film director and screenwriter from Kerala, India. Born in Kottayam and settled in Kollam. He is known as Director of Off-Beat movies. Malayalam Film Actor Kollam Ajith is his brother. His ''Bharathan Effect'' (2007) the first science fiction movie in Malayalam, scripted by Madhu Muttam of ''Manichithrathazhu'' fame, received positive reviews from the film press for its venture into the unexplored. His debut movie was ''Sargavasantham'' (1995), written by the famous novelist Kakkanadan. Vanitha Krishnachandran is an Indian film and television actress. She acted during the 1980s in nearly 170 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films along with several Malayalam and Tamil Television serials. Rizabawa (24 September 1966 – 13 September 2021) was an Indian actor who works predomiantly in Malayalam films and television. His breakthrough role was as a villain in the 1990 film ''In Harihar Nagar''. Since then, he acted as villain in several films in 1990s. Early life Career Rizabawa started his career in theatre. Jose Pellissery (1950 – 5 December 2004) was an Indian film and theatre actor. Biography As an actor in Malayalam cinema, he played supporting roles in about 100 films. His 15-year film career included roles in such movies as ''Aadhaaram'', ''Akashadoothu'', ''Naadody'', and ''Ghazal''. Pellissery was a partner of the theatre company Chalakudy Sarathy Theatres. He performed in about a dozen plays produced by this company under the direction of Thilakan, including ''Five Star Hospital'', ''Alakal'', ''Indhanam'', ''Fassahu'', ''Mochanam Nale'', ''Adisankaran Janicha Naattil'', and ''Chamayam''.
