''Sarajevo'' is a 1940 Hungarian historical film directed by Ákos Ráthonyi and starring Maria von Tasnady, Ferenc Kiss (actor), Ferenc Kiss and József Timár. The film is set against the backdrop of events leading up to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914. Ákos Ráthonyi
Ákos Ráthonyi (26 March 1908 – 6 January 1969) was a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. He directed 42 films between 1936 and 1968. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and died in Munich, West Germany.
