Sarah Higley
Sally Caves is the pen name of Sarah Higley, a science fiction writer and professor of English at the University of Rochester. She is best known for creating the '' Star Trek'' character Reginald Barclay. ''Star Trek'' Caves wrote the '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'' episode "Hollow Pursuits", in which Reginald Barclay was introduced. She also co-authored the story of the '' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' episode " Babel". Teonaht Caves is the creator of Teonaht, a notable constructed language. A pen name, also called a ''nom de plume'' or a literary double, is a pseudonym (or, in some cases, a variant form of a real name) adopted by an author and printed on the title page or by-line of their works in place of their real name.
